He's built an audience (like Kylie) by standing out and using some charisma, and now it's a self-perpetuating loop where given his reach, he can't fail even if his ideas aren't good. A modern day self-help pyramid scheme but with good intentions?
Like Trump, I think what he is is a brilliant marketer. He has figured out how to captivate audiences without really saying anything, but by being "real" and "relatable" while showing off that he's made it.
