I couldn’t agree more. One issue i’ve always had with the label feminist, is the idea of pitting the sexes against each other, rather than embracing our differences. Some of my greatest mentors have been men for the reasons you stated.
I’d love to see female role models today that embrace their femininity — compassion, wit, courage, sexuality, generosity, empathy — things that make us different but should also be celebrated.
I don’t want to be a man. I like them too much for that. ;)
